MIXER'S CONNECTION WITH EMBEDDED THRUST BEARING
The mixer's connection has been
engineered for completely eliminating the continuous and tearing thrust action caused by the reduction
unit's shaft toward its same entry.
The thrust has only negative effects
on the life of the reduction unit's
internal gears, as a strength dispersion and oil losses from the reduction unit due to a continuous widening-effect reload.

1) reduction unit's shaft on which the dangerous thrust acts toward the inside of the unit itself
2) oil seal submitted to wear and oil losses as a consequence, because of its position, always in touch with the dust created by the material
being mixed
3) thrust-elimination metal ring, supporting the reduction unit's outside case and the oil seal (2)
4) mixer's connection made of special cast iron
5) thrust bearing
Attention: the thrust-elimination metal ring (3) may have different shapes, according to the different reduction unit's types
